Mobile Configuration allows you to adjust the settings of standard mobile processes within an SCM mobile app, enabling you to tailor page elements, modify the preconfigured actions of button elements, and make other adjustments to meet your specific app requirements.
Unlike Mobile Customization, Mobile Configuration does not require cloning a mobile process to make changes. However, customization provides greater flexibility to update additional settings, such as adding all element types or fields to a mobile page, which is not possible through Mobile Configuration alone.
Mobile customization enables you to create your copy of a standard process and modify it according to your business requirements. Aside from page elements, which you can modify through mobile configuration, it lets you modify more components, including processes, event actions, information screen elements, and source data. On your copy of a process, you can also add or remove pages and page elements, like buttons and fields.
