Scenario:
When the Purchase Order permission level of a custom role was changed to ‘Edit’ from ‘View’ level, at the time of creating or Editing a Purchase Order, an error would be shown:

Moreover, when the make a copy action is selected from a Purchase via the custom role, the transaction copy cannot be saved, the Item cannot be removed nor can we switch between transaction subtabs.
Whenever a transaction record is opened in create or edit mode in this custom role, two error windows always appear pertaining to the ‘Withholding tax bundle’ script error.
Hence, make a copy cannot be performed from this custom role.
Solution:
The error is caused due to insufficient permission to access the tax withholding bundle.
The issue can be resolved by providing the ‘Perform Search’ permission to the role.
On providing this permission from the Lists subtab under role permissions with the View access level, the issue was resolved.
