- A user may want to set a default value, whether marked or unmarked as default, for the Override box in the Address field of their transaction records
 Solution:
For transactions that will be created manually in the NetSuite UI. the default value of the Override box in the Address field of transaction records depends solely on the default value set on the Address field in the Customer/Vendor records.
For instance, a user has a Customer who has a Default Shipping Address and DefaultBilling Address in the Customer Record with the Override box marked as default. When entering a Sales Order for this customer and editing the Ship To Address or Bill To Address, the Override box will also show as marked. If the Override box is set otherwise in the Customer Record, the value on the Sales Order will also show otherwise.
- If the Override is checked whatever Changes made to the Address Fields in the Address subrecord will not reflect in the grey Address box. Keeping this on we cannot update the the address displayed in any record (customer, Transaction etc.) So before updating anything turn off the Override and then move. Keep this in mind especially when we do CSV import or bulk update.
( Note: that the change made using a CSV Import is irreversible. Test in one or two records or addresses before performing an update of numerous records.)
